About The Name
In the 1950s Lamb Sundries was a sundry store and soda fountain in Colorado Springs, Colorado owned by Norman and Frieda Lamb (pictured at left with Fred and Sue). The Lambs owned several other businesses over the years, including a music store, Christian book store, and Little Lamb's Nursery day care center.
LambSundries.com was started in 2007 by Norman and Frieda's grandson, Steve Lamb. Steve needed a unique web address that would describe a web site filled with miscellaneous objects and information. The purpose of the web site is to describe our adventures, display pictures and provide information about the family. Steve likes the idea of reintroducing a seldom used, but descriptive word (sundries) and building a link with the past.
