Tantara

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." - Helen Keller

Tantara is a Lagoon 380 Catamaran that was home to the Lamb family from May, 2006 through May, 2007. Together the family traveled the US east coast, Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Choosing the name...

Tantara means the sound of a trumpet. We chose this name for our sailboat for several practical reasons, and because it is a reminder of the hope found in these verses:

1 Thessalonians 4

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
